The centre piece is the traditional marquee full of fruit, vegetables, wine, cookery and preservers, crafts, photographs, floral art, childrens and teenage Craft classes.  These are open for all to enter – see schedule for details. There are lots of Challenge cups and money to win for Most points in show, most entries, winner of each section and each children’s age group and a few for specific classes. Prize winners from last year were.

The children’s classes have prize money for each class and are free to enter, we also have a Fancy dress (12 and under). In 2023 it will be On Safari.

The show is traditionally opened by a peel from our bell ringers and a local dignitary.  There are a variety of craft stalls and often displays giving information, in the past we have had Bees, Ducklings, wood turning and traditional music provided by the bell ringers who open the show.

Village run Stalls to browse through, with lots of bargains to be had on the Books and Puzzles , White Elephant, Produce, Cakes, Tombola and Toys and some lovely local craft stalls.

Grand Raffle with some great prizes from local businesses. The fete ends with the traditional prize giving and an annual highlight, the Auction of Local Produce with your chance to haggle for some prize winning produce at bargain prices.

Choose from Tasty Teas served by the village ladies, BBQ’ed burgers,  Bennetts Dairies Ice Creams or visit our village run Bar serving wine, brewery beers (Wyre Piddle),  Cider and beverages such as the renowned Plum jerkin as mentioned on BBC Hereford and Worcester.

There is plenty to entertain all the family with highlights such as Live Music, Punch and Judy shows, and our National Egg throwing competition.  And the Classic car display, plank plodding, face painting, Gt Comberton Casino, skittles, coconut shy and other fun games including china smashing.
